Condensed Matter Physics Groups:
Theoretical Solid State Physics group has several national and international collaborations and working on: liquid state dynamics , electron correlation in three-, two- and one-dimensional quantum charged Bose and Fermi liquids, dynamics of transition metals and alloys, magnetic excitation in metals, electronic properties of metallic solid solutions, hydrogen in metals , cuprate superconductors, doped and undoped carbon clusters, fullerenes solids and nano-particles and nanotubes, simple and organic molecular crystals , theory of classical and quantum liquids and glass transition.
Experimental Solid State Physics group is working on:
Electrical and optical properties of semiconductors, effect of metallic
diffusion in compound semiconductor, optical and photoelectric
properties, ionic conduction in polymer, polymeric gels as well as
polycrystalline materials, semiconductor dispersed polymer
electrolytes, mixed ionic + electronic conductivity, electrical,
thermal and structural properties.
