Update: 17 Dec 2013
The response of the students to NSSP 2014 from various parts of India is very encouraging. We could only select finite number of participants for three categories (oral, poster, only participation) due to financial, logistic (mainly accommodation) limitations. We tried to give opportunity to as many students as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- The selected participants will have to send their acceptance by post latest by Friday, December 27, 2013 along with registration fee Rs. 400/- through DD drawn in favour of "Indian Association of Physics Teachers", payable at Chandigarh. You can also send combined DD, with names of participants written on reverse side of the DD.
Or, you can pay the registration fee Rs. 400/- through electronic bank transfer to Indian Association of Physics Teachers SBI Account No. 10444977769, IFS Code SBIN0000742, MICR 16000 2009, Branch code 0742, Sector 14 Branch, Chandigarh. The details of the transaction along with acceptance should be sent by email to: nssp2014@pu.ac.in
If we do not receive post/email by Friday, December 27, 2013 confirming your participation, we assume that you are not interested to attend and the vacancy shall be offered to another applicant. - (a) In case your submission for oral presentation has multiple authors, only one student shall get opportunity to make oral presentation. Please let us know who the oral presenter is. Participation certificates shall be given to other names in the submission, who are present during NSSP-2014.
(b) In the case of poster presentation, all the students whose names figure in the submission and are present during NSSP-2014 shall be given certificates. - The complete manuscript (in the soft copy format, in the style mentioned in the website) of the articles accepted for Oral / Poster presentations, should be sent by email or submitted on the first day of NSSP-2014. This will enable us to bring out the Proceedings of NSSP-2014 in the form of a Journal Issue as soon as possible. This is essential as only very few students have submitted their complete presentations in the proper format, so far.
