The groups are engaged in the study of nuclear structure at high spin, reaction dynamics and mechanism, Coulomb excitation and hyperfine interactions, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy for photo-ionization processes and PIXE for element analysis using Cyclotron at Chandigarh, 3 UD-pelletron at IOP Bhubaneshwar and Nuclear Science Center facility at New Delhi.

The Upcoming facility being added at Chandigarh is a 5 UD-Tendetron. This will be housed inside the PU Campus.
