Title: Hot electron relaxation in metals: the memory function approach

Speaker: Dr. Navinder Singh, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahemdabad

Abstract: In this seminar a pedagogical introduction to the topic of the memory function formalism of electronic transport will be given. We have applied this formalism to a non-equilibrium situation of electrons in metals, and obtained couple of interesting results. We also propose an experiment to test these results.
