Tentative Program Schedule [REVISED]

List of ORAL/POSTER presentations is available in booklet.

Oral presentations shall be 12-15 minutes with another 2-3 minutes for question and answers. Bring your presentation on pen-drive. There will be poster sessions. In each poster session, there will be few posters. Space for each poster is A0 size single sheet or approximately 12-16 A4 size sheets.

Please remember that you have to submit the full paper / Manuscript during the symposium. Selected articles shall be published in Student Journal of Physics, International Edition. Schedule of the program shall be posted soon.

Participants reaching Chandigarh on 1st / 2nd October can take an auto /OLA/UBER and reach respective guest houses as mentioned in the list.

Participants, who are reaching Chandigarh, after 7.00 A.M. on 3rd October, should reach directly at the Symposium venue i.e. Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. They will be shifted to the respective accommodation by the organizers after the Inauguration.

Participants should contact the following volunteers on/before arrival. Look for pre-paid auto service. Otherwise, fix the price (bargain) before getting into auto. You can also use UBER, OLA services for CABS. The fares will be much cheaper.

The selected students should send their acceptance of participation (via email) and registration fee latest by 19 September 2019, 5.00 P.M.

If you are not able to participate, please inform us as soon as possible (via email), so that the seat can be offered to wait listed candidate.

Please send Arrival and departure information (date / mode of travel / expected arrival / departure) after making the bookings. If you are part of a group, one email containing the information shall do the purpose.

The registration fee of Rs. 850 via online transfer to the IAPT account (A/c No. 10444977769, IFSC code SBIN0000742, MICR Code 160002009). You can also pay registration fee through DD drawn in favor of "Indian Association of Physics Teachers", payable at Chandigarh.

Students from same college may make one single transaction / one single DD. Please mention the applicant’s details in the email.

The transaction details / scanned copy of DD along with acceptance, should reach us (via email) latest by 19 September 2019. Original DD by post can reach us late.

The selected Oral / Poster-presentation student shall submit the material presented in the oral/poster in a manuscript form (4-5 pages), as per template available at the website, at the time of Symposium, failing which no financial support shall be extended. In case of multiple authors, only first author is allowed for oral presentation. Oral presentations cannot be shared. There is no such restriction for poster presentation.

Accommodation arrangements for all participants shall be made at various guest houses / hostels. Further details of the accommodation and instructions on how to reach the guest houses / hostels, contact no. of volunteers etc., shall be uploaded to website in due course.

Detailed Program schedule (invited talks / oral presentations sessions / poster sessions ), shall be uploaded to website in due course. Keep visiting website regularly for LATEST UPDATES.
