INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPANTS

• The participants reaching Chandigarh on 24/02/2013 and on 25/02/2013 till 7:00 am morning should reach the following: National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Near Guru Gobind Singh College for Boys, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The accommodation is arranged at NITTTR Boys and Girls Hostels. NITTTR is approximately 4 km from Railway Station, 5 km from ISBT Sector-17 and 6.5 km from Deptartment of Physics.
• The participants reaching on 25/02/2013 after 7:00 am should reach directly at the symposium venue, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. They will be shifted to the respective guest houses by the organisers.
• Volunteers will be picking up only those participants who are coming by Paschim Express and Jan-Shatabadi Express on 24th and by Howrah-Kalka Mail on 25th early morning. Participants should exit through Platform No. 1 and look out for volunteers. All other participants are requested to reach the respective venues by themselves.
• The dinner on 24/02/2013 will be served at NITTTR Guest House itself. The morning tea from 25th to 28th February will also be served at NITTTR. The breakfast, lunch and dinner from 25th to 27th February will be served at the symposium venue.
• Bus service will be arranged to take the participants from the NITTTR Guest House to the symposium venue at 8:00 am and from the symposium venue to the NITTTR Guest House at 9:30 pm after dinner.
• Look for pre-paid auto service or fix the price (bargain) before getting into autos. A rough estimate of auto fare is as follows:
  • Railway Station to NITTTR: Rs. 50–80
  • Railway Station to Department of Physics: Rs. 100–130
  • Bus Stand, Sector-17 to NITTTR: Rs. 50–80
  • Bus Stand, Sector-17 to Department of Physics: Rs. 40–60
